Social Media & Content Intern

Chubb’s Global Social Media team is seeking a creative and motivated summer intern to design and produce content for our social media channels, aligned with our global marketing and communications strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to craft social media posts seen by thousands of Chubb followers and pitch innovative content ideas while working alongside experienced social media practitioners worldwide.

Our summer internship program offers the chance to have practical, real world experience at one of the world’s leading insurance companies. As a part of the program, you will have the opportunity to work on marketing and communications projects where you will gain knowledge to supplement and strengthen your academic skills.

About the Role

As a Social Media Intern, you will assist in creating social media content, developing design templates, and crafting visual storytelling materials that align with Chubb’s corporate identity.

Responsibilities

Design social media graphics, templates, and visual assets  Edit and refine short-form videos and reels for brand storytelling. Assist in developing design templates to streamline content creation for global teams. Organize and maintain a library of digital assets for internal and external use. Stay informed on social media design trends and contribute fresh ideas to enhance digital engagement.

Who You Are

Currently pursuing a degree in communications, design, journalism, Communication Design, Graphic Design, Design and Technology, Motion Graphics, Illustration, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field.Basic knowledge of video editing for social mediaExperience with photography and/or videography (bonus but not required).Strong attention to detail and ability to take creative direction.Enthusiastic about learning and growing in a corporate social media setting.Familiar with social media video formats and trending visual styles.Able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Strong GPA preferred (3.0 required).Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, or Reddit.Leadership experience through involvement in art projects, exhibitions, community service, athletics, clubs or creative collaborations preferred.Proactive approach to creative work and assignments.Preferred prior work experience, including but not limited to summer jobs, part-time roles, or internships.Preferred leadership experience, including but not limited to work, involvement in community service, athletics, clubs, or other activities.

The pay range for this internship is $18 to $26 per hour. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors. The disclosed pay range estimate may be adjusted for the applicable geographic differential for the location in which the position is filled.
