General Purpose of Job: Quad, a marketing experience company serving premier brands, seeks a Social Media Designer to work in partnership with one of our largest retail clients in the greater Pittsburgh, PA area . This role is responsible for the design execution and production of engaging asset content for various social media platforms using graphics (still and motion), videos, and more while adhering to company brand standards . You must be a strategic thinker and problem solver who can utilize existing templates, or bring forward new ideas and approaches based on current trends and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities: + Design and develop visually appealing graphics, animations, and videos tailored for various social media platforms, utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects), CapCut and Google Suite + Perform daily production tasks, such as building PowerPoint project decks, creating digital proofs, and performing quality assurance on vendor-provided assets. + Create fun, engaging video content for social media channels (Instagram reels, TikTok and more) + Perform video editing tasks to produce polished and engaging final products + Collaborate with creative and production team members to ideate and execute digital assets + Support in-person art direction when needed at local Quad photo studio + Adhere to project deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail and quality of work Requirements: + Strong understanding of layout, digital design, videography, video editing and production + Ability to work with a team to develop and maintain multiple simultaneous project timelines across varying media + Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team, from concept to completion + This is a remote position but may require time spent at local Quad Photo Studio + Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects), CapCut + Strive to stay up to date on the latest production techniques, social media trends, and innovations utilized industry-wide + Well-organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills + Some familiarity and interest in AI is a plus! + Expected hours: 8:30-5 EST #LI-EK1 We offer excellent benefits to eligible employees, including 401(k), holidays, vacations and more.
