Social Media & Digital Communications Manager
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications.Based in the offices in Maidenhead (3 days a week) with 2 days flexible working.Highly competitive salary, Bonus and comprehensive benefits package.Job Objective:
The Social Media and Digital Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive digital strategy that enhances our corporate brand presence, engages our audiences, and drives growth across various digital channels. This role requires a creative thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for social media trends and digital marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Develop and implement a robust social media and digital communications strategy in alignment with our corporate narrative.Content Creation: Lead the creation of engaging, original content for various digital platforms [social; employee intranet; corporate website], ensuring it aligns with our brand voice and goals.Website managementCommunity Management: Monitor and respond to queries or complaints in a timely and professional manner.Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyse key metrics to evaluate the performance of digital campaigns and channels. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the UK External Affairs function (Therapy Area Communications; Government Affairs and Internal Communications) as well as other internal stakeholders (HR; Medical Affairs), facilitating their use of AbbVie’s UK Corporate channels, whilst ensuring cohesive messaging and branding. This role will also require collaboration with AbbVie Global corporate marketing and social media teams to identify opportunities for content localisation and amplification of respective initiatives / milestones.Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and emerging platforms, leveraging new opportunities to enhance our digital presence.Campaign Management: Plan and execute digital campaigns, including paid social media, SEO/SEO.Qualifications
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g. Communications, Marketing) or equivalent professional experienceExperience in digital communications and social media, preferably within a corporate or agency environmentHighly proficient on LinkedIn, X and InstragramProficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Khoros, Unily, Adobe Experience Manager, Canva, and IllustratorExperience in website management, including working with internal developersRobust SEO knowledgeProven experience in content creation and managementExperience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plusCreative problem solverOrganised with good interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders, build relationships and multitaskPassionate about delivering an excellent experience and engaging content with a clear action plan to target specific audiencesAdditional Information
