The RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Social Media Executive to join our team and help us grow and engage our communities across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.Reporting to the Head of Social and working closely with the social and content teams, the Social Media Executive will be responsible for daily community management and content creation to drive traffic to our websites and support the growth of our online communities. The work schedule is 37.5 hours per week/ 5 days a week. This position is located in Bourne End, Bucks office (Hybrid - office/Home)Key Responsibilities:Content Creation and Optimisation:Manage and schedule organic social content to promote our websites and ecommerce offerings
Create and publish daily posts across our brand channels (Emma's Diary, Health Professional Academy, BabyCentre)
Produce social media assets
Test new content formats on emerging channels like Instagram and TikTok
Community Management:Monitor and respond to social comments and direct messages across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other relevant platforms
Work closely with the customer service team to address consumer queries received via social media
Skills & Experience:Minimum 2 years of professional social media marketing experience
Strong eye for design and branding, with Canva skills
Video editing and meme creation skills (Canva, Capcut, TikTok)
Demonstrated community management skills, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written communication skills and ability to adapt to brand tone of voice
Experience with social media management tools like Sprout, Hootsuite, Brandwatch, and Emplifi
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
Passion for social media trends and innovations
Comfortable being on camera (desirable)
