Job Scope:
As a Liberty Hardware Social Media Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in managing and growing our brand’s digital presence. Your role will focus on planning and coordinating social media content, maintaining a content calendar, and scheduling posts to ensure a consistent online presence. You will engage with our audience daily across platforms, assist in boosting organic content, and support influencer scouting, outreach, and giftings to strengthen partnerships. Additionally, you will attend paid social media meetings with our agency, assist with agency requests, and help track monthly social performance. This internship offers the opportunity to develop key skills in social media strategy while collaborating with industry professionals.
Responsibilities and Opportunities:
Plan Social Media Content:Assist in developing creative and strategic social media content that aligns with Liberty Hardware’s campaigns and business objectives. Conduct research on industry trends and competitors to inform content planning. Coordinate Content Creation:Collaborate with internal teams to develop engaging content. Assist in organizing photoshoots and asset gathering for social media posts. Maintain Content Calendar: Coordinate with different departments to align content with product launches and seasonal campaigns. Manage and update the social media content calendar to ensure consistent posting across Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Scheduling Posts: Utilize Sprout to schedule posts across platforms. Ensure posts are scheduled at optimal times to maximize engagement and impressions. Daily Engagement on Platforms: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate manner. Engage with followers and relevant industry accounts to build community and brand loyalty. Agency Support Support our paid media agency with asset gathering and any additional needs related to our paid media campaigns. Influencer: Research and identify influencers that align with Liberty Hardware’s brand values and target audience. Organize and manage product giftings for influencers. Track gifted influencer content and engagement for reporting and evaluation. Social Analytics Gather and analyze our social media KPI’s monthly. Assist in preparing reports.Requirements and Key Competencies:
Currently enrolled in a degree program that pertains to the internship you’re applying for at an accredited institution, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Creativity and keen eye for visual aesthetics. Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Passion for digital marketing, content creation, and social media trends.Length of Internship: Summer
