Overview:
WBD Sports is looking for a creative and innovative talent to join the team as Social Media Lead, MotoGP. This person will be responsible for WBD Sports’ MotoGP channels on all social media platforms, as well as overseeing the company’s wider motorsports coverage.

Executing against the wider sports strategy, the successful applicant will have a proven track record of managing successful social media accounts for a motorsports publisher, team or brand.

The ideal candidate loves sport, with a particular passion for MotoGP, and understands how to engage audiences on every major social media platform.

Job Responsibilities:
• Execute against the social media strategy, content production and media
approach for WBD Sports
• Work with the team in executing best practices against that strategy
• Work closely with the management team, who will set the right KPIs to support
WBD Sports’ business goals.
• Utilise the Social Media Guidelines and Playbook per platform for teams to work to and align with best practices

• Be the day-to-day relationship owner with our social audiences on our MotoGP
social channels, keeping audiences engaged and enthused by our content
• Collaborate with wider WBD teams, talent, riders and other relevant
stakeholders to maximise the reach and consumption of content


Job Requirements:
• At least two years of experience managing social media accounts for a sports
related brand
• Strong knowledge of MotoGP and a love of a broad range of motorsports
• A strong understanding of the social media landscape and the platforms we
currently or could operate on
• A passion for digital and particularly social-first content with an understanding around how that content is created and produced
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to work independently and within a team
• Previous experience and advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere are essential
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
