Role\: Social Media Manager
What will you do?
· Be trained and master all Schneider Electric social media practices and platforms\:
o Acquire training and license on all SE SM platforms, like Sprinklr, Advocacy, Word Press, SEMRush, etc
o Develop familiarity and comfort with all SE platforms and tools.
o Actively participate in SE social media community meetings
o Stay up to speed on all social media developments from global team, global marketing.
o Get to know local social media approaches in other Energy Management division teams and Schneider Electric country communication teams.
· Oversee and guide the work of one or more Social Media Specialists focused on social media execution/publication of\:
o Their training and mastery of all SE social media practices and platforms
o Their building and maintenance the Power System & Services Global Marketing team’s social media calendar and repository
o Their execution and publication of Social Post, Blog post, and Video Publication
o Their Advocacy platform work
o Their Reporting tasks.
o Their content creation activities and methods
o Their contribution to newsletters and highlights
o Step in to perform publication and execution during any absence of Social Media Specialist
· Define and own social media strategy\:
o Define social media objectives under context of communication, campaign, business, and division objectives.
o Build and activate a social media strategy per campaign and overall Power System & Services division (not just tactics and calendar) that supports the individual Power System & Services global marcom campaigns and their businesses, and is aligned to thought leadership objectives and the Digital Marketing and Web team’s objectives.
o Give performance- and objective-driven recommendations for social media actions to communication specialists and campaign leaders.
o Be the Single Point of Contact and internal ambassador of Power System & Services social media. Participate, work closely, and enforce the guidelines and rules defined by Schneider Electric’s global SM leadership team.
o Maintain and regularly update knowledge of latest social media trends, tactics, and conduct and review competitor analysis to gauge effectiveness of our SM strategy and revise as necessary.
· Take Responsibility for Social Media Performance\:
o Align to and support the creation of social media KPIs.
o Work closely with Digital Marketing and Web team to ensure meaningful global and country deployment of social media actions.
o Operate with an attitude of iterative performance improvement.
o Make our social media social – increase engagement, interaction, conversation.
o Reach Social Media targets, including quantitative targets such as volume of impressions, engagement, engagement rate, followers, and brand metrics including brand health and share of earned media.
· Plan and execute initiatives to improve social media presence and online personas of key PS&S leadership team\:
o Build and execute plan for top Power System & Services leaders to increase online exposure (in their personal social media accounts) and offline exposure, following, and status as thought leaders in their domains.
o Train global and local business and other leaders on social media tools and practices
o Ensure communication alignment current events and to the EM Business Unit thought leadership calendar.
o Create a performance dashboard for social media, with individual follow-up of the performance of senior leaders and business VP.
· Own internal and digital events from end to end
o Lead planning and execution of some internal and all digital events for division and individual Power System & Services marcom campaigns, such as webinars, opens lines, and event streams or broadcasts.
o Support campaign managers on the digital event creation and promotion.
o Train stakeholders on the relevant digital event tools, for example Cvent, Teams Live Events, SocialLive, Aventri.
o Create promotional and post-event toolkits digital event toolkits for country deployment.
o Report on digital event performance.
o Collaborate with Events Manager to optimize physical and digital events or hybrid events.
