Join us and be the eyes, ears and voice of Ford. **In this position...** As the Social Media Manager, you will create and execute winning social media strategies to amplify Ford's motorsports achievements and promote our performance vehicles specifically on Ford Performance social media channels. This involves developing compelling content, fostering strong community engagement, growing our audience, and monitoring social media performance across these channels. **What you'll do…** + Develop and implement social media strategy for Ford Performance social channels, including: + Instagram + Facebook + X + YouTube + Threads + TikTok + LinkedIn + Manage content creation and curation, leveraging Ford Performance assets, including vehicles, teams, drivers, activation assets, etc. + Monitor and engage followers + Document patterns across all platforms + Foster and sustain engagement through content + Assess and track data and metrics across all platforms + Foster relationships and collaborate with social managers responsible for social strategies at sanctioning bodies, race teams, driver organizations and other relevant partner organizations + Develop, execute and manage Influencer/Content Creator strategy + Work cross-functionally with Engineering/Ford Social/Comms/Global Markets/Licensing/Dealer Relations/Design /Retail Marketing/Product Marketing/etc. to support social strategy + Set clear Social Media goals/KPIs, plus monitor and track metrics + Manage and support on-site program efforts specific to social media efforts + Supervise and guide agency work dedicated to supporting Ford Performance’s social media platforms + Represent the company at Ford Performance events – trackside and non-track functions + Prepare presentations on social media initiatives, to be shared with Executive Leadership team (all the way up to company CEO) + Study and research social media trends to apply and/or integrate into Ford Performance strategy **You'll have…** + Bachelor’s degree in internet marketing, journalism or related field + 5-10 year’s work experience in the field of marketing + Proven experience working within the Social space, focusing on channels related to motorsports or sports + Possess strong understanding of the industry, team/driver management + Thorough understanding and proficient on Social Media practices and trends + Strong presentation skills + Highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working hours + Strong program management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously + Experience delivering results on-time and within budget **Other Information:** + Heavy travel will be required – domestic and international + Weekend and/or evening hours expected You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
