Social Media Programme Specialist

The role As Social Media Programme Specialist, you will report the to Global Head of Social Media and work in close collaboration with the broader SoftwareOne marketing team. You will be responsible for implementing SoftwareOne’s social media strategy across all global and corporate channels and analyzing and reporting on campaign results to build followers and expand positive brand awareness. You will be savvy in using modern social media techniques, and creating engaging content, with an understanding of how to adapt for regional and cultural nuances. You will have passion and interest in how technology is changing the way businesses work and thrive in a high-energy environment where you will be facilitating multiple projects. Core Responsibilities: Support execution of a comprehensive social media strategy aligned to the company’s overall marketing and business objectives, working under leadership of Global Head of Social Media. Maintain editorial calendar and support creation of content pipeline. Ensure updated, relevant social media content is appearing across all channels; specifically, includes content creation, curation, and posting. Engage with clients and followers. Track KPIs and analyse data obtained; produce reports illustrating results. Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics. Establish relationships with social media influencers to develop a strong network. Keep an eye on social media trends and understand how they relate to SoftwareOne’s own tools, channels, and content. Work cross-functionally with teams such as customer marketing, communications, regional leaders etc. Maintain compliance with global social media policies, regulations, and best practices. Support Global Head of Social Media in crisis communications. Have a flair for creativity in developing social programmes. What we need to see from you 2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, online marketing, or related field, in the B2B technology space. Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field / or demonstrate equivalent relevant experience. Demonstrable experience in creating engaging content and executing impactful social media programmes. Cultural awareness and ability to adapt social media strategies to regional norms and needs. Outstanding writing, editing and proofreading skills in English. Native English speaker with excellent attention to detail. Organised and able to multitask. Ability to work independently and effectively within a team. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to take initiative, anticipate needs, and exercise sound judgment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in social media analytics and tools including Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, etc. Solid knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc. Solid knowledge of SEO and keyword search. Proficiency in tools for content creation – e.g. Canva, Adobe Illustrator.
