Job Responsibilities :The Social Media Specialist (GSA / FR) is responsible for growing Razer’s community at an exponential rate through various content and engagement strategies, which will include the crafting of social media posts and responses, along with developing community activations from trendjacks to contests. You are required to have your hands on the pulse of gaming, esports and social media trends to ensure Razer stays in the forefront of its social media game.Working directly with our wider Community and Marketing Team, the job entails the following:
Community Engagement: Manage day-to-day communications on the social media channels of Razer (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok) to grow the engagement and size of these channels exponentially. This includes replying to our fans, content moderation, and enforcing of community house rulesCampaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote personal brands, projects, or events.Content Creation: Create engaging and tailored content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter)Internal Alignment: Coordinate with internal marketing/product teams globally to develop and execute a social media and community strategy, which include content/campaign planning and creation.Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis and reporting of owned social media (and external channels) to provide industry/landscape insights as well as recommend suggestions for further improvementLocalization: Make global campaigns relevant for the German and French speaking community by translating provided contentStay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.Pre-Requisites :Pre-Requisites :
BA/BS degree relevant discipline such as Communications, Marketing, Digital Media or PR, or equivalent practical experience2 years of experience in social media management and content creationUnderstanding of various social media platforms and their featuresStrong knowledge of graphic design or video editing toolsLanguage Skills: Fluent German, French, English is a mustWillingness to travelStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be a gamer.Good-to-have(s):
