Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Social Media Video & Image Editor with strong English language proficiency to join our team. The ideal candidate has expertise in video editing, motion graphics, and image editing and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively and create engaging content tailored for diverse audiences. You will be responsible for producing high-quality videos and animations and editing images optimized for various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and enhance short-form and long-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. Create motion graphics, GIFs, and animations to enhance video content. Perform color grading, visual effects, transitions, and sound design to create engaging videos. Edit and enhance photos and graphics for social media posts, ads, and marketing materials. Optimize video and image content for different aspect ratios, resolutions, and platform requirements. Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop visually appealing content that aligns with branding and messaging. Ensure all content is grammatically correct and visually coherent, with proper text overlays and subtitles when necessary. Stay updated on the latest video editing, image editing, and social media trends to create modern and engaging content. Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

4-5 years of proven experience as a Video Editor, Motion Graphics Designer, or Social Media Content Creator. Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator (or similar tools). Strong skills in motion graphics, animation, and visual effects. Proficiency in photo retouching, colour correction, and manipulation. Excellent English language skills (written and verbal) for clear communication and content accuracy. Ability to edit engaging content under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality. Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience engagement strategies for social media. Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, and image editing projects.

Preferred Skills (Optional but a Plus):

Experience with 3D animation (Blender, Cinema 4D, or Maya). Basic knowledge of UI/UX design for web and mobile. Audio editing and sound design experience. Familiarity with social media analytics to optimize content performance.
