As a Social Performance Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the affiliate’s social management strategy, engaging with stakeholders, managing grievances, and coordinating CSR projects. You will ensure all activities align with performance standards and help foster positive relationships with local communities.
ActivitiesAs a Social Performance Officer, you will engage directly with local communities, managing stakeholder relations and ensuring their concerns are addressed. You will oversee grievance management and ensure timely resolution and reporting. Additionally, you will support the implementation of Environmental and Social plans, gather key data, and coordinate community liaison activities.
You will also play a key role in managing CSR projects and ensuring they align with TotalEnergies’ sustainability goals. Compliance with IFC Performance Standards for all social and environmental activities will be your priority, ensuring a positive impact on the communities you work with.
Candidate Profile You have at least 3 years of experience in a field such as NGOs, the extractive industry, or a similar environment.You’re passionate about diversity, human rights, and social management, and you thrive on engaging with local communities.You’re familiar with IFC Performance Standards and international social/environmental practices.You communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally.You’re fluent in Dutch, English, and Sranang Tongo.
