Social Services Coordinator (CV548-2) - Homeless Services Division We want to hire a Social Services Coordinator to join our highly dynamic and growing team. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Implementation of program plans, activities and functions of the Housing and Supportive Services Project funded by HUD + A critical responsibility of this position is to ensure adequate funding is in place to continue service delivery either through HUD McKinney Grant renewal or through other funding sources + Carry out duties in accordance with HUD grant requirements and the Agency policies and procedures + Coordination of internal and external resources to ensure the clients receive the supportive services necessary to achieve their highest potential for independence and self-sufficiency REQUIREMENTS: + Master’s Degree in Human Services OR related field plus five years of relevant experience + OR Bachelor’s Degree plus ten years of relevant experience + Competent computer skills are required + Ability and willingness to travel + A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet Volunteers of America Delaware Valley standards + Knowledge in Elder Care Services and Disability Services + Knowledge of HUD (U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) regulations in particular as it relates to New Jersey and Pennsylvania + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + The ability to facilitate trainings and presentations EEO of "Individuals with Disabilities" and "Veteran Status"/AA
