Overview:
Our team at Paramount+ is looking for a Social Strategy Lead to own audience development strategies across social platforms that showcase the breadth and depth of the Paramount+ library!

 

This role will use social and streaming data to inform the development of audience growth and engagement campaigns, collaborating with our internal and external creative partners to brief content for the Paramount+ social handles. These 360 campaigns will use both organic and paid social tactics, as well as incorporating influencer and partnership marketing tactics. From boosting organic content to planning and implementing paid campaigns, this role will be tasked with driving audience growth and engagement on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, and more. 

 

This role will be pivotal in leading day-to-day planning, creative ideation, and championing innovative and data-driven social content strategies to support our team’s priorities as a top-of-funnel acquisition source while growing our addressable audience and optimizing paid social spends for maximum impact.

 

The ideal candidate has shown experience optimizing social media campaigns and strategies for a large brand (entertainment preferred) as well as a collaborative and innovative working style that can flow across many cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be skilled at marrying social data with creative content strategies, as well as forging partnerships with colleagues across divisions,

Responsibilities:

Craft end-to-end social campaigns across all social platforms Leverage social and streaming data to ensure all content creation is data-driven, and use data to refine and optimize content Supervise social media managers and coordinators and help develop training & growth plans to further talent Study competitor strategies, industry trends, and new product features to ensure Paramount+ stays ahead of the curve Collaborate with internal team members and external platform partners to innovate and test new strategies (e.g., A/B testing) across social channels Collaborate across social and marketing teams to plan comprehensive campaigns with strategic recommendations for paid media support (dark posts/boosting organic posts/etc.) Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership, peers, and internal partners on various campaigns and priorities

 

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years leading social campaigns across or running brand social accounts Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

 

Additional Qualifications:

Previous entertainment industry experience Previous agency experience Paid media and/or social analytics experience Experience directly supervising social media professionals and/or agencies Deep understanding of social standard processes across platforms Ability to mine and use social / site data to develop content quickly against social trends Collaborative leader with a shown dedication to encouraging an inclusive and productive work environment Detailed and a stickler for grammar and consistency in voice Extensive experience using social media platforms and audience development tactics Proven quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills Hardworking and knowledgeable about television, film, and pop culture at large

Hiring Salary Range: $74,400.00 - 100,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
