Preferred Qualifications
1. Educational Credentials: Masters degree in a helping profession (e.g., social work, psychology, counseling, or public health) or management field from an accredited college or university.
2. Advanced Program Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate social service programs, including implementation, monitoring, and evaluation, within a corrections or public service setting.
3. Policy Development Expertise: Proven experience in researching, drafting, and implementing policies that align with organizational goals and comply with state or federal regulations.
4. Trauma-Informed Practices Knowledge: In-depth understanding of trauma-informed care principles and their application in program development for justice-involved populations.
5. Cognitive Behavioral Program Knowledge: Expertise in implementing and evaluating cognitive-behavioral interventions tailored for incarcerated individuals or reentry populations.
6. Data Collection and Analysis Skills: Strong ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform program development, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
7. Grant Writing and Management: Experience with grant applications, compliance, and budgeting, particularly in social services or criminal justice programs.
8. Presentation Skills: Proven ability to design and deliver engaging presentations to diverse audiences, including leadership, stakeholders, and program participants.
9. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, database management systems, and other digital tools used for program tracking, data analysis, and reporting.
10. Strong Written Communication: Exceptional writing skills, with experience creating reports, policy documents, and program evaluations.
Statewide Travel: This position requires frequent statewide travel, including overnight stays.
