Job Description

We wish to inform you that DSWD Field Office VII has the following vacant permanent positions:



One (1) slot for SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER I (SWO I) (re-published)


Status of Employment :       Permanent

Item No. : OSEC-DSWDB-SOCWO1-172-2004

Division/Program            :       Protective Services Division

Salary Grade                   :       SG 11 (Php27,000.00)



Minimum Qualification Standards:


Education :            Bachelor's degree in Social Work

Training :            None Required

Experience : None Required

Eligibility :            RA 1080 (SW)



Primary Tasks:


1. Performs/conducts, interviews, home visits to clientele;

2. Prepares case studies;

3. Provides necessary intervention, guidance and counseling;

4. Maintains networking with other NGAs, LGUs, GOs, and NGOs, and submits assessments reports;

5. Attends court hearings;

6. Conducts information dissemination on programs and services for community participation and public awareness;

7. Disseminate laws and policies related to social protection programs;

8. Determines and plans for the permanency plan of each handled child;

9. Performs other related tasks randomly assigned.
