Job Description

  

 SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER II - 1 SLOT

 

    TERMS OF REFERENCE                     

    Salary Grade                           :  15 (Php 35,097.00)                     

    Status of  Employment            :  COS                      

    Location/Office                        :  Adoption Resources and Referral Section FO VII                    

    Program/Division/Unit             :  Protective Services Division                     

    Reports to                                  :  Social Welfare Officer IV

 

                QUALIFICATION GUIDE                  

                Minimum Qualification:                              

                Education                                : Bachelor's degree in Social Work

                Training                                   : Four (4) hours of relevant training

                Experience                              : One (1) year of relevant experience   

                Eligibility                                : RA 1080 (Registered Social Worker)                     

 

                Preferred Qualification:

                Education                                : Bachelor's degree in Social Work

                Training                                   : Four (4) hours of relevant training

                Experience                              : One (1) year of relevant experience   

                Eligibility                                : RA 1080 (Registered Social Worker)      

 

Primary Tasks:

1. Conducts interviews to clienteles, home visits, jail visits, case counseling, case management conferences;

2. Gather's collateral information;

3. Provides psychosocial interventions such as counseling, family therapy, critical incidence, stress debriefing and family conferences;

4. Prepares project proposals, social case study reports, assessment reports of her cases;

5. Refer clients to concerned LGU's, NGO's, and PO's for further intervention and assistance;

6. Coordinates with LGU's, NGO's, PO's and Gas;

7. Performs other related functions.
