Job Description Two (2) slots for SOCIAL WELFARE OFFICER IIIStatus of Employment : PermanentItem No. : OSEC-DSWDB-SOCWO3-322-2004 OSEC-DSWDB-SOCWO3-323-2004Division/Program : Protective Services Division Salary Grade : SG 18 (Php 46,725.00)Minimum Qualification Standards:Education : Bachelor’s degree in Social Work Training : Eight (8) hours of relevant trainingExperience : Two (2) years of relevant experienceEligibility : RA 1080 (Registered Social Worker)Primary Tasks:1. As Unit Office Manager, plan for annual targets of the unit, aware of resources available within and outside her area of jurisdiction in order to match the needs and problems of the barangays to be served during the given period;2. As implementor, handle court-related cases on adoption, youthful offenders, child abused, rape victims, and others; conducts interviews, home visits, counseling, case management conferences, attend court hearing, coordinates with LGUs, NGAs, POs, NGOs and GOs;3. As Unit Officer Supervisor, knowledgeable and flexible in the application of pertinent agency policies orders and procedures to ensure responsiveness accessibility and accountability of the unit office in its mandate to deliver DSWD programs, services and intervention to qualified individuals, groups and communities;4. Realistic and accurate in planning and reporting of periodic targets as well as performance based on the revised classifications of clients’ problems, services and interventions;5. Conversant with all three social media methods of casework, group work and community organizations and capable of providing demonstrations session, enhance effective application of each method as called by nature of the clients’ problems;
