Summary of Job Duties:The Strive Social Work Supervisor works under the direct supervision of the Child and Adolescent Director of Outpatient Programs to coordinate and implement the Clinic’s daily functions in areas of staff supervision, program policies and procedures, assessments and referrals, and training. The Social Work Supervisor supervises the following staff: Mental Health Professionals, Qualified Behavioral Health Professionals (QBHP), and/or Social Work Interns. The Social Work Supervisor acts as the lead in clinical and/or administrative supervision with these staff with assistance from the Director. In addition, the Social Work Supervisor works to provide productivity information to the Director to assist in preparing the program budget.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field PLUS three (3) years as an LCSW experience with 1 year in a supervisory roleExperience working directly with preschoolers/children/teens in a mental health or social service setting

Preferred Qualifications:

Three (3) years of experience in behavioral healthcare setting

Responsibilities:

Liaison for Strive:

Serves as the face of Strive for agencies, contracted schools, and any community events.

Builds relationships with Strive schools to fulfill MOUs. Attends open house nights, meetings, and required events to represent Strive.

Serves as the community liaison for Strive to the North Little Rock and Little Rock areas.

Attends conferences, outreach events, and other events as needed for Strive.

Responsible for assisting the Director of Outpatient Programs with oversight of the program’s day-to-day function, both clinically and administratively.

Social Work Clinical Coordination:

Overseeing staffs’ work toward meeting the federal performance standards including meeting documentation guidelines.

Gathering data and presenting it through reports to the Director as requested

Assisting in the development, implementation and revision of program policies and procedures as needed.

Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of training agendas at the program level, in addition to training new program staff.

Assisting with the hiring of staff

Overseeing the referral/assessment process.  

Supervision:

Provides direct supervision to Mental Health Professionals and Qualified Behavioral Health Professionals (QBHPs) (clinically as applicable and allowed by licensure(s) and/or administratively) to program staff.Supervision focused on 1) Quality of care issues, making sure the staff are competent/skilled to perform their duties, 2) Service access goals ensuring that staff meet job duties including but not limited to productivity standards that are set, and 3) Any other coaching that may be required or necessary for staff development. Other duties as assigned.
