Nexus-PATH is located across North Dakota and offers mental health services, outpatient clinical services, and treatment foster care.
We have a new opportunity for a full-time Social Work Supervisor for School Case Management services. This position can be support from either our Fargo, Minot, or Bismarck ND Nexus-PATH offices!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide consultation, supervision and oversight of assigned staff. Participate in individual and group supervision including clinical consultation to review cases and ensure best practices are provided to all children and families. Coordinate staff meetings and trainings. Participate in the selection, training, ongoing development and performance evaluation of assigned staff. Assist in the management, implementation, and maintenance of all components of the strengths-based, trauma-informed, family-engaged service program. Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining operational and clinical program procedures and systems that support efficient and effective delivery of treatment services to clients per Nexus treatment guidelines/protocols, using a strengths-based, trauma-informed, family-engaged approach. Ensure and enforce sufficient staff/client ratios meet standards & expected productivity levels at all times. Ensure an effective process that provides coverage for absences and emergencies and for on-call staff usage. Assist in ensuring that new staff are trained on the program expectations, family engagement practices, trauma-informed and strengths-based treatment interventions, and program schedules, including on-call staff, who work the program. Develop and maintain strong relationships with School District leadership (e.g., school superintendent, building principals, school counselors, and social workers) Ensure routine contact with school leadership through email, phone calls, and on-site visits Maintain clear communication regarding roles, responsibilities, referral process, and caseload expectations Engage school leadership in hiring and staff performance evaluation processOther Responsibilities:
Comply with local office procedures for referral and service delivery. Complete a systemic assessment of child’s and family needs. Provide direction to other team members when applicable and make recommendations. Meet requirements for youth / family contacts. Ensure the youth and family have a voice in service planning. Advocate legal rights for youth and families. Advocate for resources to assist youth and families to successfully achieve service goals. Educate the community about the needs of youth and families. Advocate for the development and maintenance of funding and resources to meet youth and family needs at local, state and national levels.Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred A Bachelors degree in Social Work is required Valid driver’s license required. Must meet state regulating agency driving requirements, maintain auto insurance and pass corporate insurance eligibility standards.Our Workplace Values:
