This vacancy is located at the Bridge City Center for Youth in Bridge City, Louisiana.

Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) followed by five years of social services experience.

JOB DISTINCTIONS:
Differs from the Social Worker 5-A by the presence of providing consultation on and coordination of on complex program areas involving policy and procedure development for a region or at the headquarters office in order to assure that the provision of quality services is in keeping with recognized standards for the protection of clients that are being served by contract programs and the absence of serving as sole social worker at a facility having full managerial responsibility over a facility's social services program.
Differs from the Social Worker 5-B by the presence of providing consultation on and coordination of complex program areas involving policy and procedure development for a region or at the headquarters office in order to assure that the provision of quality services is in keeping with recognized standards for the protection of clients that are being served by contract programs and the absence of supervisory responsibility.
Differs from the Social Worker 6-B by the absence of providing the management function for an inpatient social work unit with a subordinate counseling staff composed of a supervisor, social workers, and other social services personnel.
Differs from the Social Worker 7 by the absence of managerial responsibility for a multi-faceted social work component incorporating three or more supervisory units.
Examples of Work
Plans, organizes, and implements all regional social work services. Coordinates the activities of the program with other units and agencies. Administers an involved training program for students of a recognized university that have interns with the agency.
Acts as consultant on social work matters to other professionals, administrators, psychologists, occupational therapist, medical director, residential care, and training directors.
Assesses and evaluates social work program effectiveness through quality control activities and statistical analysis.
Develops, interprets, and implements policy and procedures for the regional clinical social work program.
