Position: School Social Worker - Early Childhood Location: Romeoville, IL - 60446  Dates: Full-Time, (ASAP through May 28th, 2025)  Hours: 8:35 AM - 3:45 PM Caseload: Early Childhood Students AnthroMed is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced School Social Worker to join our team!! This is a temporary position beginning ASAP until May 28th, 2025. This Social Worker will work closely with young children, teachers, and families, providing consultative support and contributing to play-based assessments.  This school is a vibrant learning community dedicated to fostering the academic, social, and emotional growth of young children. Our team is passionate about supporting early learners in a nurturing, play-based environment. We pride ourselves on our strong team dynamics, including a dual-language program, supportive paraprofessionals, and a collaborative SPED team. Key Responsibilities: - Provide social work support for early childhood students through consultative services, collaborating with teachers to address social-emotional needs and behaviors. - Support play-based assessments, working with students in a variety of developmental contexts. - Work collaboratively with the school’s dual-language program and paraprofessionals to ensure the success of all students. - Support a portion of the classrooms, in coordination with the school psychologist and another social worker. - Assist with the development of individualized interventions and programs based on student needs. Caseload Information: - The social worker position does not have a formal caseload, as the majority of students receive consultative services. However, the social worker will collaborate closely with teachers and staff to monitor and support students’ social-emotional development. - Another social worker is already on staff, and responsibilities are shared in the building. Qualifications: - Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) - Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an endorsement in school social work or eligibility to obtain one.
