About The Department: \n\nThe Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit implements a team approach, offering physical, occupational, speech and recreational therapies, social workers and 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care under the direction of a medical director who specializes in rehabilitation. The unit offers comfortable, spacious rooms designed to maximize each patient's rehabilitation potential. Therapy areas are conveniently located within the unit.\n\n

About The Career:\n\nThe Social Worker is responsible for providing appropriate social services to patients, families, and others identified as having social, psychological, and\/or environmental needs related to their rehabilitation admission or adjustment to their rehabilitation or disease process. The Social Worker is responsible for the evaluation of patients; development, coordination, and implementation of the treatment plan; maintenance of informative, accurate, and timely documentation; participation in team meetings; training of others as indicated; and participation in continuing education.\n\n

All About You:\n\nEducation: MSW required or Licensed by the State of Colorado as a Clinical Social Worker.\n1-2 years of experience in rehabilitation social services preferred. \nSupport group facilitation experience is desired.\nFamiliarity or experience with insurance pre-authorizations and patient assistance programs is desired.\n\n
