Plans, organizes, and implements social work services for patients and families to address difficulties which could interfere with obtaining maximum benefits from medical care.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education

Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited school of Social Work

Minimum Work Experience

One (1) year minimum experience as an MSW in a healthcare setting

Required Licenses/Certifications

Licensed Social Worker in State of Texas Current driver's license

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Input data into computer programs Working knowledge of community resources Efficient interpersonal skills
