Master’s degree in a mental health specialty (e.g., Master of Social Work, Master of Mental Health, Master of Mental Health Counseling, or Master of Marriage and Family Therapy) from an accredited universityRequired Experience:
Two (2) years of relevant job-related post-master’s degree work experience in a supervised clinical settingNOTE: If providing home health careOne (1) additional year of relevant post-licensure experience in addition to the aboveRequired Certification/License/Registry:
Licensed as a mental health professional (e.g., Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)) in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 491 (Clinical, Counseling, and Psychotherapy Services).NOTE: If providing home health careValid state driver licenseRequired to be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and with a minimum of two (2) years of licensed driving experienceRequired to provide a seven (7)-year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) prior to employmentWill have received no more than two (2) minor violations in the past three (3) years and zero (0) major violations in the past five (5) years.
