Job Overview:

Provides psychotherapy services to mental health services. Keeps records and statistics relevant to psychological treatment. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments, i, e, damaged floors, walls, ceiling tiles, unsecured areas, and medical errors, etc.

Qualifications:

Required:

Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Clinical Psychology or Social WorkCurrent NJ LCSW, LPC LSW or LAC licensurePrevious psychotherapy experience

Preferred:

CCS preferred

Scheduling Requirements:

Full-TimeEvening Shift40 hours per week

Essential Functions:

Conduct assessments, participate in treatment planning, discharge planning, and authorizations for careDevelop and maintain working relationships with referral sources; facilitate clinical staff meetings, case consultations, and other reviewsAssist with coordination for services to best meet client needsParticipate in program development with OPBH leadership, including QA and PI projectsPrepares and maintains statistical reports and records as required by regulatory, organizational and official agenciesProvide group and individual therapyProvides Program oversite for clinical activities, ensures adequate coverage, and works in collaboration with OPBH leadershipSupervises social work students as assignedProvides a compassionate and supportive environment with prompt and consistent serviceAdheres to patient rights: provides for the confidential treatment of all communications and recordsDemonstrates professionalism with families, visitors, physicians, co-workers and supervisorsUtilizes principles of continuous quality improvement in all work situations to assess, measure and improve organizational and department functionsOrganize work, sets priorities with a minimum of supervision and seeks guidance as appropriateMakes decisions that are timely and consistent with department objectives, policies and proceduresDemonstrates sound judgment; accepts and benefits from constructive criticismParticipate in ongoing education as requiredPerforms other duties as assigned
