Amergis Healthcare Services is partnered with a respected facility in Lowell, MA, currently seeking LCSW, Unlicensed Social Worker Counselor or Mental Health Clinician to assist on a contractual basis.
Details of the position include:
Location: Lowell, MA Duration: 13 week assignment (High likelihood of temp-to-perm) Facility Type: Mobile Crisis Intervention Schedule: Sun-Thu 3pm-11pm Salary: $45-$50/hr unlicensed, $50-$55/hr LicensedJob Duties:
Provides counseling to patient’s in a variety of settings including medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, learning centers and other organizations that are in need of assistance. Ensures a trauma-informed environment that promotes safety and recovery. Provides psychiatric and substance use evaluation of individuals and families in crisis in community, clinic, and residential settings. Provides crisis intervention services including crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up from initial evaluation. Maintains linkages with specific community services by providing documented case consultations and problem resolution. Offers recommendations to clients regarding service options and support in accessing. Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Licensing/Certification according to state/facility/contract requirements The Counselor may possess an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other Human Development Major Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of agePlease feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding the position.
