Amergis Healthcare Services is partnered with a respected facility in Lowell, MA, currently seeking LCSW, Unlicensed Social Worker Counselor or Mental Health Clinician to assist on a contractual basis. Details of the position include: + Location: Lowell, MA + Duration: 13 week assignment (High likelihood of temp-to-perm) + Facility Type: Mobile Crisis Intervention + Schedule: Sun-Thu 11pm-7pm + Salary: $45-$50/hr unlicensed, $50-$55/hr Licensed Job Duties: + + Provides counseling to patient’s in a variety of settings including medical facilities, hospitals, clinics, learning centers and other organizations that are in need of assistance. + Ensures a trauma-informed environment that promotes safety and recovery. + Provides psychiatric and substance use evaluation of individuals and families in crisis in + community, clinic, and residential settings. + Provides crisis intervention services including crisis case management and short-term crisis counseling as follow-up from initial evaluation. + Maintains linkages with specific community services by providing documented case + consultations and problem resolution. + Offers recommendations to clients regarding service options and support in accessing. + Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: + + Licensing/Certification according to state/facility/contract requirements + The Counselor may possess an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or other Human Development Major + Current CPR if applicable + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements + Must be at least 18 years of age Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have regarding the position.
