Short Description Conducts a psycho-social assessment of newly diagnosed cancer patients to identify needs and develop an appropriate social service plan for each client and their family.

Answer and consults in a timely manner.

Assists with the non-medical aspect of their care (transportation, financial, insurance, disability, prescriptions, resources, referrals, paperwork) Experience Required

1-2 years health care experience.

 

 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree (BSW) required

License/Certification Requirements

Current NJ-CSW – (New Jersey Certified Social Worker).
