Kimley-Horn is looking for and Entry-Level Software Developer to join our Phoenix, Arizona (AZ) office! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities Participate as a member of a project team on a variety of development projectsWork with team members and business partners to determine project requirements and enhancements based on business and user needsDevelop applications and creative solutions based on project requirementsApply bug fixes and enhancements to existing solutionsImplement and support applications post deploymentQuickly evaluate bugs, and apply hot fixes to resolve issuesResearch new and innovative development technologies Qualifications Bachelors or Masters Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology/Systems, Computer Science, or related field1+ years of related work experience or internship(s), preferredFamiliarity with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Oracle Experience with Microsoft ecosystem, preferred Self-starter who works well with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and customer service skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Technical Experience:

Full stack web development experience building applications (HTML5, CSS3, .NET, C#, JavaScript, and SQL)Common software design patterns (MVC)RESTful APIs (.NET)JavaScript libraries (jQuery, Kendo UI)Relational database design (Microsoft SQL Server)Cloud application development (Azure)Responsive website design (Bootstrap)Modern web development frameworks (Angular, React, Vue)NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cosmos DB)  Why Kimley-Horn?
