About this opportunity:
The Technical Writer function is responsible for creation/ updation of all customer documentation and generation of packages for the product development unit. 

You will
1.    Must be ready to work as an individual contributor or as part of a team.
2.    Create/Update customer documentation, document libraries and online Help.
3.    Create/Edit images and flowcharts.
4.    Perform peer review (editorial) for all documents delivered in a product release.
5.    Suggest usability improvements to local development teams and stakeholders.
6.    Able to handle multiple projects and perform independently or in a team environment.

You must have
•    Technical Skills/Competencies
1.    Should have previous experience of technical writing preferably in the Telecom/Charging/Billing Domain.
2.    Excellent command of English language with ability to articulate complex technical concepts in clear concise and simple written form is required.
3.    Good knowledge of technical writing style guide like MSTP is required.
4.    Topic Based Writing; Good experience in writing and editing end user documents like User Manuals, Installation Guides, System Administrator Guides, Functional Description etc.
5.    Well versed with tools such as SnagIt, Visio, Oxygen XML editor, ArborText editor.
6.    Single sourcing and conditional formatting knowledge is required.
7.    Knowledge regarding DDLC and Agile methodology is preferred.
8.    Exposure to cloud platform concepts, different types of deployment, REST API concepts, Kubectl, GIT, MS Office, JIRA and Confluence related aspects would be added advantage.
9.    Exposure to DITA/CMS and XML principles desirable.
10.    Exposure to product development life cycle is desirable.

•    Soft Skills/Competencies
Education: Graduate in any discipline, with good command on English.
Experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience
1.    Exceptional communication (English - verbal and written) and presentation skills. 
2.    The ability to drive the necessary processes and standards to manage and produce quality documentation.
3.    Ownership of deliverables is a must have.
4.    Should be able to work with Logical/Analytical thinking ability and have the aptitude for problem solving and zeal for innovative solutions.
5.    Good attitude, interpersonal skills and be a self-starter and able to work independently or work closely within a team.
6.    Ability to perform in a multi-tasking and team-oriented environment.
