Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Software Application Developer in Swansea, IL.  In this role you will provide software development support for Tapestry's Global Decision Support System (GDSS) program. GDSS is the primary US Air Force Air Mobility Command (AMC) Command and Control (C2) system, and is a globally distributed enterprise class suite of applications designed, implemented and maintained by Tapestry Solutions. GDSS applications and services provide advanced mission planning, command and control for all phases of mobility operations (airlift, airdrop, and air refueling operations). 

Position Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# and .NET frameworkImplement and enhance APIs to support integration with other systems and servicesParticipate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practicesWrite unit tests and conduct testing to ensure software reliability and performanceIdentify, analyze, and resolve software defects and issues in a timely mannerUtilize debugging tools and techniques to troubleshoot complex problemsParticipate in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectivesContribute to sprint goals and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of tasksEnsure that software applications comply with security standards and best practicesParticipate in security assessments and implement necessary changes to mitigate risks

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of technical experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

COMPTIA Security+ CertificationExperience with C# and .NetPHP, Javascript, SOAP/REST APIs, XML, SQL, ReactJSExperience supporting legacy system cloud migrationsExperience supporting Mobility Air Force Command and Control Systems

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary base pay range $78,400 - $95,000
