**Description** The **Leidos CIO Services (CIOS)** team under the **Digital Modernization (DigMod)** sector is seeking talented engineering students for an internship **Software Applications Support Intern** for the **2025 Summer** . We are focused on developing new capabilities that align with our Corporate and DigMod charter, paving the way for the future of CIO Services. **Specific responsibilities include:** + Provide administrative support for the Leidos intranet, including managing user support requests and updating content as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with the intranet. + Assist in automating manual processes within the intranet to enhance operational efficiency, including developing and implementing automation scripts for tasks such as data entry and content updates. + Generate, analyze, and provide insights from regular reports on intranet usage and performance. Support the creation of custom reports to meet departmental needs, aiding in data-driven decision-making. + Conduct routine data maintenance to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and organization of information on the intranet. Assist in optimizing internal data structures for improved accessibility. + Support security-related tasks for various applications, such as system updates, vulnerability assessments, and compliance monitoring to ensure secure and compliant operations. + Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and efficient support for software applications. **Basic Qualifications:** + Currently enrolled in an accredited university/college in a technical degree program related to Information Technology or Computer Science, having completed at least one year of coursework with a minimum 3.0 GPA by the start of the internship. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. + A keen interest in automation and process improvement. + Familiarity with reporting tools and the ability to generate meaningful reports. + Understanding of IT security concepts. + Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team-oriented environment. + **U.S. citizenship required.** Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with automation tools (e.g., Power Automate) and scripting for automation. + Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. + Ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. **Original Posting:** February 28, 2025 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above. **Pay Range:** Pay Range $46,800.00 - $84,600.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
