About the Role:
As a Software Architect, you will be a technical leader, driving the architecture, development, and delivery of high-performance, scalable, and maintainable solutions. You will play a crucial role in shaping our technology roadmap, mentoring engineers, and fostering a culture of technical excellence. This role requires deep expertise in modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly React, Next.js, NestJS and deployment platforms like Vercel and AWS.
Responsibilities:
Lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of complex features and applications. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, fostering best practices and code quality. Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to improve development efficiency and application performance. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver innovative user experiences. Champion code quality, testing, and performance optimization. Contribute to the development and maintenance of our component library and design system. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, evaluating their potential impact on our products. Proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development processes. Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team. Work with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong understanding of engineering best practices, with a focus on front-endengineering, gained through significant professional experience. Expert-level proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Extensive experience with React, NestJS and Next.js, including server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API integration. Deep understanding of front-end architecture patterns, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API) and component-based design. Some understanding of back-end architecture patterns, databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and event-driven architecture Strong experience with cloud based hosting and deployment solutions (e.g., Vercel, AWS, GCP) Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress). Solid understanding of performance optimization techniques and web accessibility best practices (WCAG). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to lead via influence and mentor engineers. Experience with digital media or related industries is a plus. Familiarity with GraphQL and RESTful APIs.

Salary/Wage Range
$175,000 - $190,000 / year
Compensation for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
