Your tasks and responsibilities:
As part of our CT architecture team, you will be responsible for the architecture and pre-development of innovative software solutions that enable our customers to process and read CT images efficientlyYou will work with product owners, project management and clinical support to jointly translate clinical needs into practical, scalable and reliable software solutionsYou will work closely with the international development teams (e.g. in Bangalore) responsible for software implementationYou will guide, coach and make clear and sustainable technical decisions together to ensure that quality, time and cost targets are metYou promote continuous improvements and redesigns to adapt the architecture and implementation to new platforms, thus fully exploiting the potential of new technologiesAs a coding architect, you will drive the development of prototypes and define options for implementationTogether with other team members from the architecture and software development departments, you will work on overarching architectural issues as well as on the maintenance of communal code components and tools

Your qualifications and experience:
You have successfully completed a degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Engineering, or another relevant field, or you can demonstrate a comparable qualificationYou have many years of relevant professional experience in the development of medical software and in designing the architecture of complex software systems, as well as in making well-founded and convincing technical decisions that help teams achieve their short- and long-term goalsYou hold a certification in software architecture (company-specific, such as SWA from Siemens, or from an independent organization) or can otherwise demonstrate in-depth knowledge of software architecture methodsYou have the ability to familiarize yourself with existing software code, analyze and understand complex relationships, and develop improvements, both independently and in collaboration with technical and non-technical colleaguesYou have extensive experience with C# and .NET, and ideally with the development of native-/syngo-based software products from Siemens HealthineersA solid understanding of workflows and data flows in radiology is desirable
