A leading insurance technology company is seeking a Software Architect to drive the modernization of their cutting-edge risk assessment platform. This full-time opportunity allows you to work remotely, collaborating with a team of innovative architects. The role involves transforming a legacy .NET SQL monolithic platform into a scalable, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Event-Driven Microservices Architecture (EDA) leveraging cloud technologies like AWS.

Join a team of six highly skilled architects reporting directly to the Director of Architecture and contribute to a critical modernization effort. You'll play a key role in designing and implementing innovative solutions, working with advanced technologies like CQRS, Event Sourcing, and API Gateways. This is a rare chance to lead a large-scale transformation while gaining experience with healthcare-related data systems like EHR/FHIR, if you haven’t already. Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with API Gateways Expertise in CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation) pattern Knowledge of Event Sourcing and Event-Driven Architecture Hands-on experience with Cloud Architecture (AWS) Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and SQL Familiarity with microservices and service-oriented architecture principles
Desired Skills & Experience Experience with RabbitMQ, MSMQ, or Kafka Knowledge of React and Java Exposure to EHR/FHIR standards or healthcare/insurance systems
