We are seeking a proactive and skilled Software License Specialist to join our team of experts dedicated to managing our global software assets effectively. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our company's license portfolio, reducing complexity, and driving cost efficiencies. Proactively identify global compliance risks and financial opportunities within our software licensing portfolio, particularly focusing on our top-tier publishers, develop and implement FinOPs methods to efficiently manage our cloud portfolio, manage relationships with software publishers, with a particular emphasis on Engineering Software providers, lead and optimize the IT software asset lifecycle in alignment with industry best practices and company needs, spearhead global software license-related contract negotiations. Application Requirements What you need to succeed Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, 2+ years of extensive experience in software licensing, subject matter expertise in top-tier software publishers (e.g., Salesforce, Siemens, SAP, Oracle, etc.), proven experience in utilizing AI methods to analyze software license and usage data, familiarity with Software Asset Management Tools, such as Snow, strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with technical staff, business stakeholders, and senior management, enjoy working in complex multinational and multicultural environments, fluent in English, with strong negotiation skills, German.
