Software Asset Manager

Your Role

We are seeking highly motivated Software Asset Managers to develop and optimize software asset management solutions, ensuring efficient and cost-effective use of software licenses across the organization. Software asset management is a critical and rapidly evolving area that helps organizations streamline license consumption, optimize costs, and maintain compliance with vendor agreements.

As a Software Asset Manager in our team, you will work with stakeholders across IT, procurement, finance and engineering teams to develop automated solutions and insights that enhance the efficiency of license management.

This role provides an opportunity to drive efficiency and cost savings while supporting the organization’s software needs through automation, data-driven decision-making, and process improvements.

You will facilitate the optimization of software assets by:

Managing license consumption to ensure optimal usage and compliance with vendor agreements

Developing automated reporting solutions to track software usage data and provide actionable insights

Overseeing license renewals and assignments, ensuring timely procurement and allocation to the right users

Identifying cost optimization opportunities by analyzing usage trends and recommending adjustments to licensing models

Ensuring high data quality and integrity in software asset management processes

Requirements:

Proven experience in Software Asset Management Area

General knowledge in financial area (Capex & Opex budget management)

Good skills in MS Office and any SW Asset Management tool (e.g. Service Now, OpenIT, Altair or others)

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related equivalent

Experience with agile frameworks - like Scrum or Kanban – can represent an advantage

Experience with FlexLM–or other license management tool – can represent an advantage

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
