Conduct independent hands-on requirements based software testing, including writing test specifications and cases, running tests, reviewing reports, creating issues and organizing larger investigations to isolate systems issues, if needed. • Executes the test plan to ensure that all objectives are met. • Reviews and understands test automation goals. • Understand and comply with applicable regulations and all company processes as outlines in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Effectively communicate and collaborate within the department and across the organization by proactively driving solutions to testing issues and escalating as needed. • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices • Performs other duties as directed Under supervision, develops automation code for both UI and API. • Evaluates and tests new or modified software bug fixes, extensions, and features. • Creates and executes automated test scripts based on test scenarios. • Performs usability, functional, and regression testing. • Report bugs and issues within tracking system. • Understand and comply with applicable regulations and all company processes as outlines in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Review Functional Requirements documents and interact with other departments to ensure accurate understanding of requirements and testing to be conducted. • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices • Performs other duties as directed Experience: 5+years Education: B.E/B.Tech Technical Competency - TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber/ Gherkin A global leader in applied safety science, UL Solutions (NYSE: ULS) transforms safety, security and sustainability challenges into opportunities for customers in more than 110 countries.
