Role Purppose

To support Vodafone’s key strategic growth areas in Testing Function which requires a highly capable and passionate resources for specialized domains as Digital, IoT and Cloud Transformation.

Test Engineer will be required to perform and execute testing services as per the agreed strategy and test plan through innovative and efficient practices.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Review customer requirementsDevelop and design test cases based on customer requirementsReview and update test casesConstruct and prepare test datasetsExecute the software based on the plans and test documentsCreate execution records and update the status according to the resultsReport defects whenever they occur, track and monitor themRetest defects when they are resolvedExecute regression bucketsJoins Testing initiatives for specializationCore competencies, knowledge and experience: 1-4 Years working in Testing Very good understanding of theories and procedures about Software TestingWorking experience with web / App / applications technologyBasic knowledge of database administrationKnowledge With API Testing Working experience in dealing with industry test management toolsExperience in the following test management tools is a plusHP ALMMust have technical / professional qualifications: ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing is a must Agile testing knowledge is a plusGood understanding of scripting languages (python, Javascript)Jira knowledge is a plusAppium knowledge is requiredAWS Knowledge is a plusBBD Language is a plusGood understanding of DDT methodologies.Familiar with CI/CD Pipelines is a plus
