The Lenovo quality team is seeking a Software Customer Quality Engineer for ThinkPad Notebook and other PC devices. 

In this position, you will be performing failure analysis on customer defects, issue resolution, and implementing future product improvements. If you are passionate about debugging software/OS issues, solving complex problems, and are not afraid to pick up a screwdriver, we want to talk to you!


Responsibilities:

Perform failure analysis of product defects by using AI-enhanced technologies to investigate problemsCollaborate on defect resolution with product owners in various regionsDrive future product improvements and innovations in AIPerform onsite customer investigation as neededInvestigate software compatibility and deployment issues including, but not limited to: Windows OS, applications, drivers, firmware, BIOS, remote deployment, networking, system performance, & benchmarking.


Basic Requirements:

Experience with PC software and hardware troubleshootingDegree in IT/Computer Science or related technology field, or equivalent experience3+ years of hands-on quality engineering and/or debug experience


Preferred Requirements:

Strong verbal and written communication with attention to detailFlexibility to work some evening hoursAbility to travel both domestically and internationally as neededPrior experience with Client Endpoint Management software solutions such as MS Intune, SCCM, LANDESK, etc.
