Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

The Software Development Engineer will contribute to the design and development of foundational services that enable Project Kuiper to operate and manage our satellite constellation and ground stations. These services include Contact Orchestration, Telemetry, Monitoring, Commanding, File Transfer, OTA (Over-the-Air Software Update), Configuration Management, and Provisioning.



Key job responsibilities
- Develop software systems that meet the mission criteria and requirements.
- Collaborate with your fellow team members to form a strong foundation for a software organization in Project Kuiper.
- Help on-board new team members.
- Utilize AWS and other Amazon technologies to build high-available software services.
