Software Dev Engineer, Kumo
Description The AWS Kumo Event Management team is looking for innovative engineers to grow a rapidly expanding applications development team. This organization has the charter to build software at the core of AWS by empowering the engineers, representatives, and leaders who assist customers at all levels to provide unparalleled service and insight. When AWS services go down, our team provides the tooling that enables the response. Our number one goal is to enable relevant, accurate, and timely communication to AWS customers when they need it most. You will own execution towards that goal, delivering applications incrementally for your customers by obsessing over their needs so that they can focus on their obsession for AWS customers. You would be joining as we begin building a reinvention of AWS's Large Scale Event handling for our customers. As part of a growing team, you will have opportunities to mentor and coach other engineers. You would be responsible for implementing technology solutions that can scale at the rapidly growing pace of the AWS customer and partner community. You will help to shape the technical vision and quickly iterate on tooling used by technology leaders across the company to drive AWS's customer-impacting event handling processes. To accomplish these goals, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and customers to ensure we are delivering interfaces that make it easy to do complex tasks without dumbing them down. If employing your skills at scale, and working in a dynamic and delivery focused environment interests you, this is the perfect role.
