Software Dev Engineer II, AWS Clean Rooms ML, AWS Cleanroom ML/DP
Amazon.com
AWS Solutions provides horizontal and industry vertical applications for business users with the same on-demand scalability, reliability, pay-as-you-go pricing, and machine learning expertise that drive AWS services. The AWS Solutions group includes services such as Amazon Connect (a cost-effective cloud contact center), our End User Computing (including Amazon Workspaces, AppStream, etc.), Marketing Tech (Amazon Pinpoint), and Autonomous Checkout and Biometric Identity Services (Just Walk Out, Amazon One) for retail, sports, travel, and other verticals.
AWS Clean Rooms is a recently launched analytics service that helps customers and their partners more easily and securely analyze their combined datasets—without sharing or revealing underlying data with each other.
AWS Clean Rooms ML allows two or more collaborators to run machine learning models on their data without the need to share their data with each other. The service provides privacy-enhancing controls that allow data owners to safe-guard their data and their model IP. You can use AWS authored models or bring your own custom model.
We're looking for a Software Engineer to join AWS Clean Rooms ML team to build scalable solutions that delight customers. You'll work at the intersection of machine learning/deep learning, cloud analytics, privacy, and security, to provide customers with secured multi-party computation and privacy-preserving machine learning capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including applied scientists, security engineers and AWS service teams, to deliver innovative ML solutions.
Our team is perfect for individuals looking to work in a dynamic, start-up like environment that also leverages the resources of Amazon. Similar to a start-up, our engineers will wear many hats, move fast, and have a direct connection between their work and our customer experience/product’s profitability. Additionally, they get the benefits of Amazon competitive salary and great benefits!
The ideal candidate should have experience with building distributed systems in AWS. You'll build on top of foundational AWS services such as SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, and DynamoDB to deliver a simple and cost effective solution for customers worldwide. This is a great opportunity to use AWS exactly how AWS customers do!
Please note that this position is based in Santa Clara.
