As an experienced engineer on the Mobile frontend team, you will have the opportunity to design and lead the development of a unique and engaging feature for millions of customers. You will play an active role in building quick prototypes or proofs of concept in partnership with other technology leaders within the team. We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with a strong technical background, customer obsession and bias for action with a track record of delivering robust solutions quickly. To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication skills, focus on engineering excellence and a laser focus on high quality delivery. You will be expected to be proficient technically, mentor junior developers, adopt software development best practices, and iterate quickly.

- Collaborate with product and design teams to define and implement exceptional user experiences
- Build a world-class mobile experience for our customers
- Work closely with product managers and UX designers to define features
- Understand latest trends in mobile technology and work across Amazon mobile teams
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and tools owned by the team
- Relish the idea of solving problems and be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity that’s higher than most projects
