Software Dev Engineer II
Our client, a leading Content Platform provider, is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their team. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be part of the Content Platform team supporting merchandising applications. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, an eye for system design, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions, which will align successfully within the organization. **Job Title:** Software Development Engineer II **Location:** Onsite, Seattle, WA, US **Pay Range:** $58/hr. - $60/hr. **Duration:** 6 months (with possible extension) **What’s the Job?** + Develop and implement monitoring solutions for merchandising applications. + Troubleshoot, debug, and provide fixes for internally developed code (Perl, C/C++, Java). + Perform SQL queries and improve systems for gathering metrics on features. + Collaborate with development teams on corporate and divisional software projects. + Enhance existing software, automate support processes, and maintain system documentation. **What’s Needed?** + 2-5 years of experience in backend development, proficient in Java and/or Node.js. + Strong knowledge of system design and problem-solving skills. + Experience with Perl, C/C++, Java, Mason, Perl CGI, Oracle SQL, HTML, UNIX/Linux. + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. + Ability to work independently, with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail. **What’s in it for me?** + Opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. + Exposure to a wide variety of software applications and technologies. + Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on impactful projects. + Potential for contract extension and future growth within the company.
