The OCI Metering team ingests millions of records of OCI's customer usage daily from every OCI Service team. These records are processed, aggregated and used for customer reports and billing purposes. The team supports a big data pipeline that is required to be highly redundant and scalable. Additionally the team works with all areas of the OCI cloud services (Compute, Databases, etc) and the downstream platform team (Billing, Identity, Accounts, etc). It is a critical team that gathers usage from all areas of the OCI Cloud and sends to downstream teams. The team manages a constantly growing pipeline supporting new customer requests and services.
