Bachelor's  or Master's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field 3+ years of professional experience in software development Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills Proficiency in programming with Java languages Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and/or distributed systems Proficiency with source code management Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Proficiency with the Oracle tools & technologies: Java 8 EE, Oracle Database Architecture and SQL and PL/SQL (packages, functions, procedures, triggers) Familiar with Continuous Integration and Build Automation Familiar with Linux-based operating systems Proficiency with scripting programming Perl
