Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of hands-on experience with L7 proxies (NGINX, Envoy, HAProxy, etc.) in large-scale production environments. Strong understanding of network protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP), application layer security, and service-to-service communication patterns. Experience in automation and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.). Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.). Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.). Familiarity with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker). Experience with API gateway products (Kong, Apigee, etc.) and service meshes (Istio, Linkerd) is a plus.
