Job Duties:

Design, develop, troubleshoot and/or test/QA software. As a member of the software engineering division, apply knowledge of software architecture to perform tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and/or suggest improvements to the architecture. May telecommute. (385.32600)

 

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer and Information Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

 

Position requires:

Programming in C and C++; Shell scripting and scripting languages including Python; OS (Linux) internals and operating systems administration; SQL and database administration; Distributed Systems design and implementation; Designing, developing, and implementing software applications and systems; Testing/ QA software applications and systems; and Prevailing computer and processor architectures.
